Vintage Split-Second Chronograph Pocket Watch (without dial or crown)
- This came from an estate.
- May have been made by Jaeger-LeCoultre, IWC or Longines. Not sure, as there are no markings to indicate the maker.
- It's believed to be from the WWII era. It has a British broad arrow marking (the King's or Queen's Mark) on the outside of the case, indicating British ownership. Above the mark is "PATT. 4" and below the mark is the number 44621.
- The caseback is hinged and there's a hinged cover for the movement. The case appears to be made from stainless steel. The case measures 50mm in diameter. The crystal on the front is in good condition.
- Since there's no crown to wind the pocket watch, I don't know whether the movement will work as it should. Therefore, this pocket watch is being sold as is. The pusher for the chronograph function(s) seems to work properly.
- Please see our photos for further details.
