A very good original vintage 1st edition WW2 book. We Fought Them In Gunboats. Written by Lt Commander Robert Hichens, DSO, DSC, with forward by Rear-Admiral Hugh Hext Rogers Published by Michael Joseph Ltd, London in 1944. 151 pages with blak and white photo plates.
This is an uncompleted autobiographical account of the authors time Commanding Motorised Gunboats for the British Royal Navy during WW2. The author was killed whislt in action in 1943.
