This is one euro. Maple bar board/wood. Curled sycamore maple is a sought-after growth variant of the regular product with a highly decorative character. This is determined by a wavy, moving veneer pattern as well as more or less regular and strongly pronounced stripes that are aligned transversely to the grain. The color of the wood is almost white to light yellow and shimmers with a silky sheen. Maple wood sometimes tends to core/core formation --> this makes this wood particularly decorative. The board is in rough cut form, slightly curved, both sides pre-planed (may still have rough spots sometimes --> see photos), dry, production May 2013. Possible dark spots are only superficial and can be planed/sanded off! Striking features such as hairline cracks/ingrowths/branches or insect holes (only visual - not living!) etc. may be marked, or see photos! Dimensions are given with minimum and maximum values!
