A spectator is handed an envelope. He randomly selects a page from a paperback book and remembers the page number and a few words on that page. The spectator holds on to the book. The mentalist is able tor reveal the the thought of words. He asks the spectator to open the book to the selected page to verify the correct words, however, the spectator finds the page has been ripped from the book. He finds it in the envelope. The page's ragged edge fits in the book precisely!

Entirely new method. No palming. No switching. Nothing is added or taken away from the book or envelope. No sticky stuff like wax or rubber cement. No upside-down numbers, remember, the book is handled by the spectator.
