These are a beautiful pair of true vintage, Knee High/Tall Boots.
Age: Circa 1960's/70's.
Colour: Mottled shades of Dark/Bitter Chocolate Brown, (can look almost Black in some lights) - 100% Leather upper, 100% Leather Insoles and 100% Leather, (with front rubber section), outsoles.
The sizing details are displayed using the old style format; they would suit a modern UK 4 to 4.5. But please check against the measurements listed below, to ensure fit, as all manufacturers differ with their sizing.
Measurements:
Width of sole at widest point (outside): 8.5 cm - more of a narrow fitting
Heel height: 9.3 cm
Total length of boot; outsole, (measured outside of boot, from back to the very tip of toe, with the ankle/heel area placed against the wall): 9 inches
Total height of boots - measured at back: 46 cm
Width of top, (opening) - laid flat & measured on the outside from front to back: 7 inches
Width of Calf - laid flat & measured from side to side: 17 cm - more of a slim leg/calf fitting.
A truly stunning example of a pair of tall, pull on boots, made from premium quality, Italian-sourced, 100% Leather upper. Finished in a beautiful, rich, Dark/Bitter Chocolate Brown colour with in a mottled pattern throughout; they are not block in colour. Excellent quality materials, & craftmanship, throughout.

- A beautiful, warm-palette Autumnal colour but no reason why they cannot be worn during warmer seasons too
- These boots are full of character, nostalgia and charm
- 100% fabric lining; please note that this is loosely fitted to the inside as apposed to attached to the inside of the boots, (please see picture 15)
- 100% leather outsoles but have rubber sections overlaid to the front of each boot
- 100% leather insoles
- Tall shafts; you will see from the picture Gallery, and the video, that the shaft areas lean slightly forward, instead of perfectly & vertically straight, like more modern boots do
- The opening, to the outside of each boot, is slightly taller in height vs. the inside and offers a slightly curved finish
- The leather upper has a very mottled, distressed, rugged look and style to it - they are in no way totally perfect, but this adds to their overall charm & retro/vintage finish
- Rounded toe shape; please see pictures 3, 4 & 5 as there are some inevitable crease lines, across the front of the foot area, and the ankle area/s, from wearing
- Picture 5 also highlights that the toe area, (to the right boot), is a slightly darker shade of Brown vs. the left boot; the right boot, (toe area), also has a more 'crackled' look/finish to the leather, vs. the left boot. The boots are not perfectly symmetric in finish
- Theme: 1960's/1970's, Countryside & Equestrian
- There is a vertical joining line located down the back of each boot
- Additional joining lines are located around the whole ankle area of each boot
- Sturdy, wood-stacked, block heels to the back, measure 9.3 cm in height and finished in the same colour as the leather upper - they do not need re-heeling any time soon
- Simply pull-on and off you go; they offer minimum effort with maximum effect/impact
- They definitely have the 'wow factor' and are a real statement
- A classic design, as well as being streamlined and minimalistic
- Very well made/made to last a lifetime/heavy-duty/robust

- There are no manufacturer/maker details to be found on the boots, (it has worn away sadly), so they are being sold as 'unbranded'
- Despite there not being any manufacturer/branding details, these boots are so well made that they would have definitely been very expensive to buy back in the 60's/70's, especially having been made in Italy.
Ideal for many casual, smart-casual, or party occasions alike. Very durable and versatile. Easy to accessorise and a wardrobe must-have. They team really well with midi dresses, Tweed Jackets, thick tights with skirts and jeans alike. Mix and match with other vintage items, or more modern pieces alike, to create your very own unique, yet glam look/s. Very robust footwear and timeless in design; they will never go out of fashion. A lot of intricate details have gone into crafting these boots, and this really sets them apart from other, similar styled vintage knee high boots, you can buy; you can really see the difference in the quality. Made to last for many more decades to come. As time goes on, items like this are going to be harder to come by.
Being sold in good, used vintage condition, especially considering they are 50 - 60 years old! Only selling as I have too many boots in my collection now. They are not in pristine condition, (and they are in no way perfect); this makes them even more desirable.
