The company Jos. Kraus & Co. (also
Kraus Fandor ) was a Nuremberg toy manufacturer,
best known for sheet metal railways.
The company was registered in January 1910, produced
clockwork-powered and electric model trains made of sheet metal in the gauges 0
and 1.
"Fandor" is an acronym, composed of the first names of the founders'
mother and aunt, Dora and Fanny.
In 1937 the company was expropriated.
