1 1/2” Old Button Rose 100 Square Nails Round Domed Head Rustic Vintage

These nails likely were machine made in the early 1900's.


  • Machine made square nails came into use in the 1820's and were made until the common wire nails replaced them.
  • The heads are domed or crowned and would give a neat rustic look.
  • The heads almost look hammered but they were machine made over 100 years ago.
  • There is some light rust is on the nails from their many years of storage. 
  • These were in an old wood nail keg in a barn and they got damp and rust formed.
  • They are new and were not ever used and they are not bent.
  • These nails 1 1/2" long. 
  • The heads are around 5/16 round.
  • The nail shafts are 1/8" square and taper down to a blunt end.
