The US Coast Guard Auxiliary, a civilian volunteer service, assists the Coast Guard with public education in boating safety, inspection of recreational boats and safety and assistance patrols of recreational boating areas.

This patch was introduced in 2008.
It is a new, small size 3" wide and 3" tall color patch.
It is computer sewn, 100% embroidered, with a laser cut edge and a sealed back.
