This is an original press photo. At “Psst...Great Hair” wig counter at the Oakwood Center in Gretna, Manager JoAnn Bingham helps Gretna resident Amy Boneau try on a wig which she eventually bought. The story is about how wigs are back, and the new types of wigs are high quality, very natural looking ones. Boneau has naturally long hair, but it is straight and flat. She bought the hair piece to give her own look some life. Manager Bingham says that all ages of women are buying wigs and hair pieces because of a variety of utilitarian or fashion reasons. Not just an old lady thing anymore. Photo measures 10 x 8 inches. Photo is dated 10-22-1993.
