Vintage Shiseido Zen 50g 1.8 oz Dusting Powder

Unusual example of vintage Shiseido Zen dusting powder.

Possible Asian Market Logo or prototype/sample packaging.

We were unable to find an exact ID, but research turned up the following:

- Likely dates or pre-dates the 1965 debut of Zen

- Asian language label paired with English language “sample” indicates this may have been manufactured as a marketing sample/prototype for English-speaking countries

- Wording on package is different than those ultimately mass distributed. Most examples are labeled “Dusting Powder Zen Shiseido. This package is labeled simply “Zen”

- The label flowers are also somewhat different than those found in images mass-distributed packaging.

Condition notes:

- powder is open, but full

- some light marks on exterior plastic - could possibly be cleaned

- paper label on bottom shows some yellowing
