17th century This vintage Bassano Italy flower arrangement features yellow roses with light green leaves in a three footed off white basket weave pot.

V Bassano crafts had a very distinctive creative design with vine wrapping and delicate petals.

The flowers vary in size and are separated by light green leaves. The leaves each are accented with incised vein marks.

Bassano Italian Ceramics started in Nove, a small Venetian town in Italy.

Great estate find. This believed to be a 17th century V Bassano porcelain 3D Floral lidded, handled covered dish / Compote measures appros 8 3/4 inches tall w/lid, 12 inches handle to handle, 4 1/2 inches deep and 6 x 8 inches wide not including handles. 

Piece has typical minimal vintage chips and crazing for the age. in extreme good condition for age.

We believe it is still usable as a compote per estate sale seller. No cracks in base, handles, or lid. But as stated, the lid does have typical chips and small broken pedal as per a piece well taken care of but still very old. See photos
