This vintage Rubens Lefton ceramic planter is a rare find and in mint condition. The planter features an anthropomorphic blue bird character, perfect for any room or nursery. Item states, " I am a bird squeeze me I sing" on the front of it." Believed to have come with a device that made sound and went into the back pocket of it.  Its glossy finish and raised relief design give it a 3D effect, making it a limited edition collectible.

The medium-sized planter is suitable for windows, furniture, or flowers and is hand-painted with care instructions to clean with a damp cloth or warm water. It was manufactured in Japan during the mid-20th century and is an original piece from the 1960s. Ideal for collectors of cartoon & TV characters, wildlife, fairy tales, and novelty items, this planter is a must-have for any vintage decor enthusiast.

There is a spot where the glaze bubbled during manufacturing, and when the bubbles popped, it left a rough spot. I have provided photos of this. This is not damage, just a manufacturing defect.
