All pages are intact, and the pages are overall clean, a small, tiny tear or smudge mark may be found. The outside page ends are marbled. The frontispiece and tissue guards are in good condition. There are many gorgeous steel plate engravings. This book is truly a treasure trove of historical information and to hold it feels like stepping back in time.
