This is a stunning vintage, Pure Wool Cellular Blanket - By Horrockses, Crewdson & Co. (who were based in Preston, Lancashire, UK).
Bought in the 1950's/1960's; around 70 years old.
*Very good, used Vintage condition, overall; but please note, there is one mark to the main blanket, (please see picture 5), and there are some smaller marks to the acetate/polyester edging. (Please see pictures 6 & 7). Not very noticeable but important to highlight.*

A beautiful, heavy-duty, UK made, chunky-knit cellular blanket. This has been crafted using premium quality, 100% Pure New Wool. A thick-density yarn, and all the quality you would expect from Horrockses.

A stunning quality blanket which is perfect for any room in the home. It has a multitude of uses and is great for staying warm and cosy, especially during the more colder seasons of the year. A timeless piece; this luxurious blanket will never go out of fashion.
Very good used, vintage condition, (especially considering its age), and all the quality you would expect from Horrockses. Horrockses were renowned for their excellent quality bedding/blankets, and this vintage blanket is a great example of that.
Anyone who was familiar with this very high-end/premium, British brand, will know just how good the quality is. Only selling as I have too many wool blankets in my collection now. Please ensure to inspect all the pictures in the Gallery, before purchasing, to make certain you are happy with the condition/signs of wear. It is not in pristine condition, but being sold in very good, used vintage condition.
