This is an original press photo. Construction work continues on Manhattan Boulevard near the West Bank Expressway Tuesday morning by workers from Louisiana Paving Co. of Kenner. Here, a turning lane is being built to help the traffic flow on Manhattan Boulevard. The entire project which consists of re building the roadway with asphalt and installing subsurface drainage from Gretna Boulevard to the West Bank Expressway should take about a year to complete. Photo measures 8 x 10 inches. Photo is dated 01-06-1987.
