Antique US Civil War sword, marked US JH 1862
1. all in very good condition no scabbard
2. I have not cleaned this it is clean
3. purchase from home here in NH
4. the hilt and guard are heavy brass
5. blade is not sharp
6. cannot find anything wrong with this item
7. very hard to find a sword of this vintage with 1862 date
8. on the underside of guard scratched in John

2. weight before about 1.14 pounds, so just under 2 pounds
