Here we have a rare French uniform set from WW2.

This includes the hat, great coat, jacket, belt, 2 ammo pouches, boots, puttees, canteen and pants. (Mannequin not included)

This uniform was purchased from the deceased estate of Montague Thomas Archibald Wedd where it was previously kept in the Monarch Historical Museum.

The uniform has been well preserved and is in good condition with some very small stains on the liner.

All buttons are there and intact.

The leather belt, strap for the canteen and boots contain traces of mould.

WARNING: The leather items in this set are very fragile and are prone to cracking and ripping if not careful. One of the pouches is missing a D ring to attach the suspenders.

This rare foreign piece will make a great addition to a collection if you love military history and the Second World War.

The uniform will come with a copy of the certificate of provenance.
