Available is a nice pre-Spanish American War cap badge.

The screw back device is gilt or bronze in color.  The two crossed infantry rifles have a "WI" above and a keystone device below the intersection of the rifles.  The original spinner is present and works properly.  The device was made for the Washington Infantry of Pittsburgh Pennsylvania Volunteer Infantry.  I have been told that this unit was part of the Pennsylvania Militia or National Guard and that this device dates from the Indian Wars to right before the Spanish American War.

The cap badge is in very good condition showing light age.  Please be sure to check out my large photos and judge condition for yourself.

Buyer agrees to pay $6.95 USPS shipping.  If you have any questions, please feel free to ask.
