1. not sure but I think the wood is pine

4. metal is well attached
5. metal on bottom has small tacks holding it in place
6. metal on top edge, folds over and is crimped between the wooden slats
7. made to look like peach basket
8. probably holds a pint
9. very rare hard to fine item
