Large Finely Done Silver Wire Vase done over a dark Ground  decorated with a Wisteria Flowers and Butterfly Motif, Floral Enamel.



This Vase was made in Japan in the  Late Meiji Period (January 25, 1868 – July 30, 1912) to Early Taishō Period (Jul 30, 1912 – Dec 25, 1926)


Many Parts of the is Vase were done in Silver Wire, this Vase exhibits Various Flowers and Floral Elements. This is a wonderful Enamel Vase, and great Oriental Chinoiserie Vessel.

Elegantly enameled Flowers such as Wisteria, along with Butterflies.

Vessels contain Footed base with floral upper and lower borders.

The item is in fair condition for age, and has normal and typical signs of wear from age, surface debris, some wear, scratches, and patina and oxidation is present especially around the base. There's damage and missing enamel along with some spiderwebbing that is under the surface of the enamel and some spots its above the surface of the enamel. Theres also large repairs that were to help stop additional enamel loss and to help blend in the damaged area, and to make the area more appealing.


 Due to age and size of piece there may be random enamel flaking or imperfections. 


Nonetheless this will make for an excellent statement piece. See pictures for more information and the item is sold as is.
