If the weaknesses of joint type sinking pencils can be overcome, you should be able to increase your fishing results even more. Mirage JT128S was developed to make that wish come true. Weakness #1: Flight distance During flight, the movement of the connecting part is controlled, and the joint part moves at the same time as landing on the water. It is relatively easy to control the range of motion of the joint during flight. However, the range of motion is restored upon landing on the water. This part posed a major challenge. Therefore, a pendulum-type control system was developed. As you can see in the diagram above, when casting, the pendulum attached to the front body fits into the hole set in the rear part, connecting the front and rear bodies and controlling the range of motion of the joint, making it appear as if they were integrated. It hits the distance like a lure. A 6.5mm tungsten ball is placed at the rear of the body to help ensure that the body is aligned in a straight line before casting and the pendulum of the entire body enters the hole in the rear body. Weakness #2: Stability in the flow Many lures that swim in lipless S-shaped orbits were developed for fishing barrack bass, and were suitable for environments where they are not easily affected by currents. However, in order to successfully fish for sea bass, we believe that a lure that continues to swim stably in the current is essential, so we repeatedly set the front eyelet, the design and hardness of the caudal fin, and the internal weight balance. After doing so, we found a setting that could be used even in the complicated flow of the Kanmon Strait.
