Coasters are a necessity and this set of 4 come from Japan to do the job.  There are four different embroidered flowers on each one and four different colors...mauve, purple, light green, dark sage green.  They come in their own box that is covered in lime green handmade paper.  Bought in Japan in 2002, they are in very good condition with the exception of the dark sage...is has a small tear near the upper left corner...still quite usable.  Each measures approximately 3.5".
