Arriflex 35 IIIC Camera Package & camera Accessories-

The Black & White footage was filmed with my Super 8 Camera but the shots in color were filmed with this Arri 3C. A couple action shots towards the end were shot on HD, Panasonic HVX200.

This listing is for the extremely rare Arri 3C (Arri IIIC) Motion Picture Film Camera. The Arriflex 35 IIIC was released in 1982. It removed the turret and only featured a single PL mount, it had a crystal sync handgrip motor running at 12V and variable frame rates 5 fps-50 fps, plus it could run forward and in reverse, it also had a variable shutter. Extremely rare camera package because Arri only made so many of these cameras.

With the variable shutter angle you can film 45 degree shutter angle for war and action scenes. This camera package also includes a black & white video tap so you can offer video village and playback. This camera has two shooting configurations either flat base with the motor off to the back side for tripod configuration or second for handheld you can put the motor directly underneath the camera body and it shoots like a gun, amazing for handheld run and gun setups.

This camera package includes 3-400’ magazines and 2-200’ magazines. The 400’ mags get you 4 minutes of 35mm motion picture film while the 200’ magazines get you 2 minutes of 35mm motion picture film. This camera package includes a rotating eye piece because it has two doors one Arriflex door with straight eye piece and the second door has the black & white video tap so you can run video village, or have the camera on a 30’ crane or if you want to run it on steadicam or on a gimbal.

It also includes 1-36’ long cable with an on/off switch to run the camera on a crane. I will also include 1-Intervalometer so you can shoot tons of amazing time-lapse cinematography in 35mm motion picture film. You can get the most amazing time-lapse’s with this setup because it offers you the variable shutter angle. This feature will allow you to get blurry streaking frames or you can make the frames as sharp as you like. This is an amazing camera package that will allow you to shoot tons of completely stylized in camera effects, that most other cameras do not offer these same effects. For example Spike Jones used this camera to shoot The Pharcyde Music Video completely in reverse. There are not that many film cameras that will allow you to film completely in reverse. This Arri IIIC & the Arri IIC camera was used on most Hollywood feature throughout the 80’s, 90’s and early 2000’s as there B or C camera.
