In 1981, a series conquered German screens: “Dallas,” the soap opera about the oil millionaire Ewing family, became a street sweeper and TV phenomenon. The focus is on the brothers Bobby (Patrick Duffy) and JR (Larry Hagman) Ewing, sons of patriarch John Ross “Jock” (Jim Davis), who makes a fortune with his company “Ewing Oil” in the Texas town.
