The Guild 500 Watt Mini Saw is an essential for anyone's toolbox. The two standout features are its ability to plunge cut or to trim in a straight line. Capable of plunge cutting into any surface, ideal for fitting a socket into plasterboard or installing a letterbox or cat-flap into a door. The parallel guide will ensure your cut is straight, whether you're trimming a piece of wood or cutting a channel. This item can only be sold to customers over 18 years of age.
The saw comes complete with two blades - one HSS and one TCT blade. HSS blades make a very clean cut whilst TCT blades give a good cut, but last up to five times longer. These blades can be used to cut through wood, metal and plasterboard. The saw takes any universal 85mm blades, which are readily available, including those made by Bosch, Makita and Worx.
The plunge saw can cut to a depth of 27mm on wood or plasterboard or 2mm on metal. The cut can be adjusted to be angled (bevelled). With high-power of 5100 RPM, it can cut through the toughest materials. The vacuum cleaner adaptor allows you to remove all dust and wood shavings.
