Per chi già la conosce non ha bisogno di presentazioni. La scheda ti permette di trasformare una schedina CompactFlash in un HardDisk per Computer Vintage come IBM PC 5150, IBM XT 5160, IBM XT 5162, IBM AT,IBM PS/2 Model 30, IBM PS/2Model 50, Olivetti M24 e PC Compatibili (Turbo XT, ecc.).
La scheda è un remake della XT-CF-Lite di James Pearces e rappresentala sua ultima versione 4.1. La EEPROM è montata su zoccolo per una rapida sostituzione. Attenzione: l'articolo inviato potrebbe avere un aspetto esteriore leggermente diverso da quello riportato nelle foto.

La scheda viene fornita assemblata con ROM già programmata e testata almeno su i seguenti computer: IBM PC 5150, IBM XT (5160), Turbo XT, IBM XT 286(5162), IBM PS/2 Model 30, IBM PS/2 Model 50, ma può funzionare anche sulla maggior parte dei PC 8bit IBM compatibili.
Attenzione:
Se volete usarla su IBM AT, per problemi di compatibilità, il PC deve avere un BIOS aggiornato ad AMI o AWARD BIOS.
Inoltre la scheda non è compatibile con lo slot 8 (maggiori informazioni sul sito originale).
La scheda viene fornita programmata con i seguenti parametri di default:
Sulla scheda è mondata una EEPROM ATMEL AT28C64B che può essere riprogrammata direttamente dal PC con la scheda installata. E’ possibile quindi modificare i parametri sopra a piacimento per renderli compatibili con la propria configurazione (ad esempio conflitti con altre schede) mediante il programma di configurazione XTCFIDE.COM scaricabile dal sito originale di Malinov.
Se non sei sicuro di essere in grado di cambiare gli switch di configurazione o non sei pratico della materia,non acquistare questa carta perchè può richiedere competenza e un po’ di pazienza nella sua configurazione (microswitch a bordo + software). Si tratta comunque di uno standard ormai largamente diffuso e si trovano online guide e forum con tantissime informazioni e consigli.

The card is supplied assembled with ROM already programmed and tested at least on the following computers: IBM PC 5150, IBM XT (5160), Turbo XT, IBM XT 286 (5162), IBM PS / 2 Model 30, IBM PS / 2 Model 50 , but can also work on most compatible IBM 8bit PCs.
Attention:
