A small handpainted antique porcelain decorated with soldiers and flags and the Shakespeare quotation ' Come The Three Corners of the World We Shall Shock Them' - 'Naught Shall Make us Rue if Britain to Itself do Rest but True'.

The mug presumably commemorates military alliances around the time of World War One although I am not sure of the precise date or intent of it.  The front of the mug appears to show the flags of Great Britain, Belgium, Japan and Russia and soldiers of Belgium and Japan. The reverse shows what I believe to be the St Edwards Crown of GB plus the French and possibly Russian flags.

The Mug stands 3.25" tall with the opening 2.5" and base 3" diameter.  There is no makers backstamp or other marking.

The item is in fair antique condition.  There is a very small chip and a short tight crack to the rim plus a little staining inside but no major damage and t displays well.
