Little Valley Aquaculture is a small fish farm in Idaho, USA!

Our Nile Tilapia fingerlings are raised in our own hatchery. Our water is sourced from geothermal artesian spring water. We have brood tank set ups that allow the mothers to raise their young. We then move the fry to our grow out tanks.

During the fry-fingerling stage, we feed them our all-natural larval meal made from black soldier fly larvae raised here at our farm!

Nile tilapia is great for aquaponics and algae pond cleaning. They do best in 70-85 degree water. Colder temps can slow down their metabolism and may also kill them.

DOA Policy: Clear photos of DOA in original packaging unopened or tampered with. Email within 2 hours to insure they were not left unattended.

*Nile tilapia are unable to survive in cold water below 60 degrees. Tilapia should never be released into the wild or to be used as live bait. Little Valley Aquaculture is not responsible for these actions. If you wish to no longer keep tilapia, the most humane way to kill is to cover in ice.

*Check with your local/state laws on owning tilapia.
