Antique necklace made of Japanese natural, cultured pearls with a 14 karat gold clasp inlaid with old cut diamonds. Early 20th century.
A classic, elegant strand of superb white Japanese pearls ends in an exquisitely sophisticated clasp crafted from 14k gold (585/1000) and set with 11 antique cut diamonds. Diamond size: large 3.5 mm and 10 small ones 1-1.5 mm each.
On the back of the clasp there is a hallmark of 585 and a stamp.
Necklace length 44 cm.
The beads are strung in a descending direction, from the largest beads in the center to the smaller ones at the back of the head. Bead sizes range from 7.85 to 3.5 mm.
The beautiful clasp consists of three parts. The clasp size is 25 by 8 mm. The clasp is equipped with a safety loop.
Weight 18.65 g.
The beads are strung on a white silk thread.
