Primula Auricular Blackjack

A clump-forming alpine.  A low-growing, spreading plant that has attractive burgundy-red flowers with yellow rim and white central eye March through to May.  Although it is a slow grower, it becomes an effective ground cover along a pathway or to fill in large bare spaces.
