Primula Auricular Purple Pip

A clump-forming evergreen alpine.  A low-growing, spreading plant that has attractive clusters of double deep red-purple flowers on short upright stems  March through to May.  Although it is a slow grower, it becomes an effective ground cover along a pathway or to fill in large bare spaces.
