Instructions for Use:
1. Install the 3V battery (CR2032) in the tester and test each memory slot of the corresponding DDR2 and DDR3 motherboards. If the motherboard has no power, press the button switch on the tester, the test lamp will be very bright and the brightness will be the same. The signal line is normal. If the light does not light up or is particularly bright, there is a short circuit fault in this signal. (Note: In the test for -motherboards, motherboards do not connect the CPU, and in the test for -motherboards, various connection cards (e.g. 940 motherboard, AM2 motherboard, 1207 motherboard, 1366 motherboard) can be measured to insert the CPU, the test light will be bright.)
2. When testing the DDR2 motherboard, there is no pull-up exclusion in the address line, all lights are bright, which is normal. If there is a pull-up exclusion, the address line will light up, indicating that only this exclusion is not open, but it can also be determined with the pointer table whether the BGA address line is open. (To determine whether the pull-up exclusion is generally designed next to the general exclusion in the memory slot. There are several exclusions, one end is connected to the address line, and the other end is connected to the power supply.)
3. Pointer table for determining the address line method: Attach the pointer table to X1, so one ohm, with a black table pen on the motherboard, measure it with a red table pen, or measure the DDR2 address line hole and the address line resistance of BGA address line without soldering, such as a larger swing, indicating that it is a BGA-solderable circuit board or wire break fault.
