A curtain tieback set is a must have item to have for an authentic restoration project.

  • The rings are clearly pictured so look close for the shape and condition of the glass
  • The glass is clear and bubbly in both rings with no chips or cracks.
  • What appears to be a fine crack are the joints that the glass blower did many years ago.
  • The screw eyes have taken on a some patina over the years.
  • The screw eyes have a few small imperfections from turning them in and out.
  • These rings could be used to hang a hand towel if a ribbon or thin rope was tied to the towel.
  • I was told that these may be awning rings or strain insulators
  • Most of the paint has been removed from sloppy painters over the years
  • These curtain tieback rings were likely made in the late 1800’s or early 1900’s.
  • Ideal for authentic restoration and antique effect.
  •  They are old and will add authenticity and history.
  • The rings are 1 3/8" in diameter
  • The glass is around 1/2 thick
  • The screw eyes are 1 5/8 long
