This is a Chinese porcelain hexagon-shaped container/ginger jar with a blue and white scenery. Chinese characters surround the lid, and a dragon is pictured on top of the lid. There is a brand/maker's mark on the bottom. 

Jar measures approx. 7" (h) x 5" (w). 

This is in excellent condition for its age, but there is one chip at the base (see pictures).
