Delightful rare early Klira acoustic parlour guitar.

This is a quality antique/vintage guitar with a zero fret, rosewood fretboard, top grade solid spruce soundboard and maple faced back and sides.

Made in 1952; stamped 1.6.52 inside.

Size; measures 932 mm long, neck is 47 mm wide at the nut.

In very good condition overall with some wear and minor marks, a small cigarette burn mark on the plastic scratchplate, small marks from a capo on the fretboard at the 12 fret, some corrosion/loss of chrome plate on trapezium string hanger and area of degradation of the varnish on the end by the string hanger, see photos.

It is tight on all the joints, no cracks, rattles or repairs.

The guitar looks to have had very little use in its 71 years, frets are in very good condition, the guitar has a new set of steel extra light strings fitted and has been set up with a low action of 3mm at the 12th fret. 

It is comfortable to play with a nice action, It plays well with a great tone and is louder than you might expect from a parlour guitar of this era.

Lovely old guitar you definitely wont be disappointed with and perfect for an authentic Blues or Jazz sound.
