Antique 19thC Cast Iron Standing Brown Bear Money Box Coin Bank Heavy 6" Tall.

Antique bear money box / savings bank / piggy bank!  This savings bank dates back to the 1910s and is a unique holiday gift for a child or adult.

  There are engravings on the bear, made like his hair, and there is a slit on the back of the bear's head where coins were once inserted.

  This bear can also be used as decoration or paper weight - it stands very strong and heavy for its size.

  Due to the age of this item there is normal wear. 

The Victorian period money box, in Black Forest style, cast in two sections.
