Navajo Kirksmith Smokey Bisbee Bangle
This is a bangle set with a fairly rare large smoky bisbee. (A trapezoid-like pentagonal cut is also rare.) It is a very beautiful stone with a deep color and a lavender pit all over it.
The size is approximately 5.5 inches in inner circumference, the slit is currently approximately 0.8 inch (inner diameter approximately 2.2 x 1.7 inch), the maximum width is approximately 36mm, and the weight is approximately 51g. Turquoise is approximately 0.9 x 0.8 inch (0.8 inch is the maximum width as it is slightly trapezoidal). (This is an amateur measurement, so please forgive some errors.) *Currently, the slit is a little smaller to match my size, but this one has a thinner arm, so it's easy to adjust the size. . Please adjust according to your own size. (Please be careful not to damage the product and do so at your own risk. Also, frequent size adjustments can lead to metal fatigue, so we recommend adjusting the size only once.)
There is a stamp of STEALING and KS (Kirk Smith, the late Kirk Smith) on the inside. This is just my personal opinion, but I think many of his works use unique stones. I own other works by him, but they all use rare and unique stones, including their cuts.
All of his pieces have a very strong smoky feel (they are for deep Indian jewelry fans, including stones), but only the inside has been polished to my liking.
