Muratore Breaks With Mary Garden. --- News Item: Lucien Muratore, the famous tenor, has announced that he will not sing next season with the Chicago Opera Company, because he objects to Mary Garden as a manager, although he liked her as a singer. Miss Garden gave out a statement that "foreign dietation is a thing of the past in the Chicago-Opera Company." Many rumors are out as to the cause of the break, among them being that he was dissatisfied with the treatment accorded his wife, Lina Cavalieri, who was billed to appear early in the season but plans were changed and she has never appeared.
