Decals: The sheet contains decals for five McDonnell Douglas RF-4 Phantom II aircraft, two United States Marine Corps (USMC) RF-4B's serving with VMFP-3 “Eyes of the Corps”, a United States Air Force (USAF) RF-4C serving with the 11th Tactical Reconnaissance Squadron (TRS), 432nd Tactical Reconnaissance Wing (TRW), a USAF RF-4C serving with 160th TRS, 187th Tactical Reconnaissance Group (TRG) of the Alabama Air National Guard (ANG) and a USAF RF-4C flown by General Graham. Includes Black and Black and White bureau numbers for the USAF aircraft, 00 tail codes for the 432nd TRW RF-4, Black modex numbers for the two VMFP-3 RF-4’s, nose art in the form of Light Tan edged in Red "TUMBLEWEED" titles over artwork of artwork of the Tumbleweed cartoon character standing in the desert, with additional smaller pieces of artwork for tail surface and fuselage,  VMFP-3 aircraft markings in the form of Gold edged in Black “fox” heads alongside three sizes of Gold chevrons edged in Black and Gold edged in Black ……… RF  modex letters to be placed on Emerald Green painted rudder surfaces for the first of the USMC RF-4’s, with the same aircraft markings provided in Grey for the second of the USMC RF-4’s including the Grey ……… RF  modex letters for the rudder surfaces, 160th TRS aircraft in the form of Red fin cap decals incorporating the White | Montgomery | titles, large vertical Insignia Blue shadowed in Red USA titles to be placed on White painted rudder surfaces, pentagon shaped 160th TRS Best Focus unit badges for the fuselage and Black ANG unit badges for the tail surfaces, USAF titles above a set of Black bureau numbers, VMFP-3 titles for the fuselage, White and White on Black panels pilot and crew chief names, victory markings in the form of Yellow stars, a set of lo-vis Grey data/stencils for the VMFP-3 RF-4, bureau number 153095, including JET INTAKE  DANGER markings, DANGER q triangles, RESCUE OPPOSITE SIDE, RESCUEw, NO PUSH, WARNING’s, CAUTION’s, LIFT , E symbols etc, a set of hi-vis data/stencils for the VMFP-3 RF-4, bureau number 153I07, including JET INTAKE  DANGER markings, DANGER q triangles, RESCUE OPPOSITE SIDE, RESCUEw, NO PUSH, WARNING’s, CAUTION’s, LIFT , E symbols etc, PHOTO FLASH EJECTION qtriangles for the rear fuselage of the 11th TRS RF-4, data/stencils for a USAF RF- 4 including White and Red data blocks, DANGER q triangles, Black WALKWAY lines, a set of formation lights, Yellow pick up points, Red engine warning stripes etc and two Grey Stars and Bars, with no roundel background to the Stars, for the fuselage of the USMC RF-4B’s.

 

There are sufficient decals to complete the USMC RF-4B Phantom, bureau number 153095, in full using kit MARINES titles, and any of the four other RF-4’s using kit Stars and Bars and data/stencils where applicable.. The two USMC RF-4B Phantom's are finished in Light Gull Grey overall with Black upper anti-glare sections extending down over the nose. The three USAF RF-4C Phantom’s are finished in the standard South East Asia (SEA) camouflage scheme of Tan FS 30219, Mid Green FS 34079 and Green FS 34102 uppers over Grey FS 36622 lowers, with the aircraft markings described above provided as decals on the sheet.

 

Also includes a double sided A5 black and white placement guide showing the side and upper profiles.
