The ``MR-G'' series is the top line of G-SHOCK.
The MRG-B5000 is an MR-G created from G-SHOCK's first model, the DW-5000C, using carefully selected metal materials and careful finishing.
By constructing the complexly shaped bezel with 25 parts, we were able to polish each part down to the finest detail, resulting in a higher quality finish. In addition, a multi-guard structure is used between the bezel parts, which increases strength by providing cushioning materials such as stainless steel plate springs and silicone.
The bezel top is made of COBARION, which is said to be about four times harder than pure titanium and has the same shine as platinum, and the case and bezel are made of 64 titanium, a highly hardened titanium alloy. . The Durasoft band is made of fluorine rubber and is comfortable to wear. Titanium parts are inserted and molded into the part where it fits with the case, increasing its strength. The top of the band has a shock resist mark, and the back has the same brick paan texture as the dial.
The dial retains the brick pattern and gold-colored circle lines that are the identity of the first model DW-5000C-1B.
In terms of functionality, it is practical as it supports radio wave reception and cooperation with smartphones. The module is equipped with an MR-G exclusive module with a gold-plated circuit holding plate.
