Bruce Weber (March 29, 1946) studied theater and art at Denison University in Granville, Ohio, and film production at New York University. In 1982, Weber used male nudity, which was not yet common at the time, in advertising photos for Calvin Klein's underwear line. This success made Weber one of the leading commercial photographers of the 1980s, and he has remained a trusted and popular fashion photographer for nearly 30 years. In 1987, he made his directorial debut with "Broken Noses," a documentary film about former National Lightweight Boxing Champion Andy Minsker. In 2000, "Chop Suey," based on wrestler Peter Johnson, and in 2004, "Letters to True," based on his own dog and others, were released. His activities are not limited to photography, but extend to all fields of art.

This poster is an offset print. Offset printing is a scientific printing method that utilizes the water repellency of oil (ink) as a type of flatbed printing. The main feature of this printing method is that it reduces friction on the plate and paper by using an intermediary transfer material instead of printing directly from the plate to the paper. It is most widely used in modern color printing because of its ability to produce accurate and clear multi-color printing, and its high reproducibility from the original plate.
