A LOVELY RESTORED BEECH BENTWOOD STEAMER TRUNK

This listing is for a lovely  bentwood steamer trunk in outstanding condition and includes the following , a  wooden rectangular trunk covered in a quality tan vinyl with two  polished beech  bentwoods  making it very strong and robust. Each bentwood is secured with steel pins and brass polished scollaped plates , the front of the trunk has two  brass  polished lift over  clasps and a large central polished brass lock making it very secure, there is also thick leather strap handles at each end of the trunk and eight lovely leather corner caps .

 When the trunk is opened it reveals a very nice size and has been relined in a new quality fawn coloured fabric making it smart clean, fresh and ready for all sorts of storage items . In addition there are a number of vintage railway travel lables on varies sides of the trunk which tells some of its travel history .

This is a very nice steamer trunk ideal for all sorts of storage , lamp table or even a coffee table . Trunks as good as these are getting harder to find these days and it would certainly make a lovley addition for any home .
