Decals: The sheet contains
decals for one Royal Air Force (RAF) Panavia Tornado F.3 serving with 229
Operational Conversion Unit / 65 Squadron (Sqn) in the 1990 “Red Zebra” display
scheme which echoes the chevron markings found on the 65 Sqn roundel bars.
Includes White serials, large the Red and White chevrons for either side of the
tail surfaces, Red bands in two parts for the lower stabilizer surfaces joining
at a point on the fuselage lowers, Red decals for the fuselage spine, canopy
surround as well as the canopy framing, Red decals for the lower surfaces and
jet intake surrounds – see image within link below, 50th Anniversary Battle of
Britain logos for the nose surfaces, 65 Sqn chevron roundel bars in the form of
dart shapes to be placed on the nose surfaces, White pilot and co-pilot names
and data/stencils including RESCUEw arrows etc.
There are sufficient
decals to complete the one Tornado F.3 aircraft from the sheet using kit lo-vis
roundels, which is finished in satin Barley Grey over satin Light Aircraft Grey
with the display scheme of the Red and White chevrons provided as decals on the
sheet.
Also includes a
double sided A4 black and white placement guide showing side,
upper and lower profiles and a separate A5 written description of the aircraft.
