A lovely and stunning late 40s or early 1950s vintage icy blue dress that would be wonderful for those winter parties! The small amount of tulle detailing near the collar is just so cute! The fabric feels like a raw silk. Label is for Massar. Dress zips up the side with a metal zipper and belt fastens in the front. Would likely best fit a modern Medium. For reference, model is size 4/6. There is no lining, so I recommend wearing a slip as the fabric is very thin.

Fair vintage condition - piece presents beautifully but there are flaws. The biggest issue is shattering to the silk at one underarm (see photo). Additional issues include some overall wear to piece, with a few loose threads in places that do not seem to impact wear. Some slight pulls to seams. One small hole/wear spot found on the shoulder. Wear to belt. Fabric is vintage raw silk, it is delicate so just be cautious. It also likes to wrinkle so hang it up as soon as you receive it. Some small markings to the dress and some discoloration - especially to the underarms, but the overall shine to the piece really makes these hard to see from afar. Repair near zipper.
