The iconic Ronnie rig or Spinner rig as it's otherwise known.
This is one of the most popular rigs available at the moment and catches thousands of massive fish! Essentially the Ronnie rig is a low-lying pop-up rig that enables you to present a pop up a couple of CMs above the lake bed in full view of any passing fish. Because of the specialist Ronnie swivel it doesn't matter what way the fish approaches your bait as soon as the fish sucks your bait in the hook will spin and due to the way the hook is angled it is in the prime position to pierce the bottom lip. Although designed for pop-ups there is no reason why this rig can not be used with wafters or bottom baits, infact some of the biggest fish my customers have caught on this rig have been with wafters. This just shows how versatile this rig is!

We offer this rig with a wide range of shrink tube kicker colours, black, white, sweetcorn yellow, weedy green, muddy brown, orange, and red. enabling you to either blend your rigs in with your baits or as Korda proved in their underwater series, you can make the hook section stand out and this will often get you a quick bite. Carp are naturally inquisitive so subtle changes like this can bring you results, especially on pressured waters.

The boom material is memory-free which means you can straighten it without the need of steam, simply use some rig pullers and pull it straight and you are good to go! Because the boom is memory-free it also means that it will resist kinking when playing a fish - something that can seriously weaken a boom material. We have the boom available in a couple of options - clear, black or a unique camo fleck. The boom material is 25lb breaking strain and crimped using 0.6mm double barrel crimps. We don't use single barrel crimps which can damage boom material. By crimping the rigs you end up with a strong, reliable and neat connection, much stronger than using a knot. 

To ensure your rigs are some of the best you can buy we only use specialist Ronnie rig swivels (some will bend a quick change swivel which, whilst it will work you also risk weakening the crook of the swivel which can lead to failure) The Ronnie rig swivels are then put on the hooks the correct way (from front to the back of the hook) This removes the risk of the swivel getting caught up in your landing net and also prevents any damage to the fish which can occur if the swivel is put on the wrong way.

The hooks we use are Teflon coated and very sharp, made from Japanese steel they are strong as well (one of my customers caught a 132lb catfish on a size 6 barbless). We have the hooks available in a wide range of patterns:
Curve Shank - one of the most popular patterns of hook at the moment, the curve shank aids the hook to be in the best position to hold inside the lip.
Crank - The pattern that Tom Dove favours and uses on his Spinner rigs, the off set point and aggressive curve shank coupled with a wide gape gives you maximum hooking potential
Wide Gape- The Classic and original pattern, straight shank, and a wide gape between the point and the shank. This gives you a really good hook hold.
Long Shank - A pattern favoured by Danny Fairbrass, the longer shank gives the bait more movement and more travel to slide out of the way back to the eye.
Claw - A uniquely shaped hook that has an angled curve rather than a sweeping curve. Being a wide gape this hook gives you are really good hold and once a fish is hooked its very hard for them to spit the hook.

All our hooks are available in sizes 4, 6 or 8 and either Micro Barbed or Barbless. We do not crush, or modify barbs in anyway

This gives you strong reliable rigs that won't let you down. Once we are happy they are free from defects etc we then package the rigs up in our eco-friendly packaging ready to be posted out to you free of charge by 1st class post. We always try our very best to get the rigs out to you within 24 hours.

Because your rigs are hand-tied by anglers with over 30 years of experience, you can be sure you are receiving a high-quality product. We will not send a single rig that we wouldn't be willing to use ourselves! 

All our rigs are posted within 24 hours. We use Royal Mail 1st class for our deliveries which means you normally receive your rigs the next working day, occasionally Royal Mail expirence some delays within their network, these delays are something we do not get notified about and are beyond our control. Proof of postage is always retained.

Due to the nature of the items sold, returns can only be accepted in the very unlikely event of a item being damaged or the incorrect items being sent. All I ask is that you send a photo of the damage or the incorrect rigs via ebay messages and I will provide you with a return address. For a return to be considered please ensure you message within 48 hours of you receiving your items. The buyer is responsible for the cost of the return.
