This is an original press photo. Nassau Bay, Texas. While the Apollo 14 spacecraft speeds to the moon, the families of the three crewmen try to carry on their daily routines as usual. Mrs. Louise Mitchell, wife of astronaut Edgar Mitchell, picks up the mail at her home. Mrs. Mitchell made a trip to the beauty shop but had little activity planned. Her two daughters stayed home from school because of a late return from Cape Kennedy January 31 where the family had viewed the launch of the Apollo 14 craft.Photo measures 10 x 8inches.
