BIBA Fashion catalog, September 1969 autumn edition, in very good order.  Complete with unmarked order form.

There were only ever 6 BIBA mail order catalogues produced - I think this one was the last in the series.  Although the catalogues had originally been the source of BIBAs success, at this point BIBA could not cope with the unpredictability of Catalogue sales volumes - some designs would generate 3000 orders, others 15000. The supply chain could not cope, so they went to being a store outlet only.  Photography in this one by Sarah Moon, and featuring Marie Knopka / Quinilla the models.

There is a very interesting history behind the BIBA brand which forged a new way to shop and dress in the 60's and 70s. It was relatively short lived but burned bright!  BIBA represents the swinging 60s, its founder Barbara Hulanicki using what were sometimes seen as outrageous and decadent designs which led to new trends.

This Catalog is in exceptionally good condition, and includes the order form.

If you were there (or not) and if you can (or can't) remember it, this is an excellent piece of 60s lifestyle history.  An excellent show or reference piece.
