The Macchi C.202 Falgore was an Italian Air Force fighter aircraft during World War II.
The C.202 Falgore (meaning "electric light") was converted to the German liquid-cooled engine Daimler-Benz DB601 to compensate for the lack of capability of the C.200 Saetta, which was equipped with an air-cooled engine designed by Mario Castoldi, chief designer of Macchi.
