This book covers in detail this system of markings with additional information on camouflage and colour schemes used on American vehicles in the theatres of the war. various It is an extensively illustrated guide to the colour schemes, formation signs, tactical mark- ings and all other aspects of U.S. Army and U.S.M.C. markings in World War 2. 

THE AUTHOR 

Terence Wise is a free-lance writer whose career has en- compassed, bookselling, whal- ing and service in the 17th Lancers in Centurion tanks. He is a prolific writer with many modelling and wargaming articles to his credit in Model- world, Airfix Magazine, Scale Models and Military Modelling. He has written numerous books on varied subjects. This is his second Almark book with more in preparation.
