Marilyn Monroe Merchandise Collection
This large collection contains several unique items that are a must for any serious fan of the famed actress. Everything is in very good condition unless noted otherwise. There are 23 individual items in this bundle. They include:
*2 porcelain coffee mugs--one bearing a California license plate reading "MARILYN FUN 'N SUN" (manufactured in 1989); and the other a repetitive colorized (Andy Warhol-inspired) image of a laughing Marilyn wearing a plunging V-neck (manufactured in 1988).
*2 mini (approx. 2") framed photos--one a black & white image from her early modeling days, in a hot pink oval frame with a stand, magnet and manufactured nail hole on back; and the other a color image from the peak of her career, in a yellow round frame with a magnet and manufactured nail hole on back. Stand is missing on this one.
*1 souvenir mock driver's license--laminated, State of California, with colorized photo of Marilyn from the peak of her career, vital statistics (eye color is stated incorrectly), her last home address and reproduction of her real signature.
*2 unopened packs of playing cards--still sealed, containing color and black & white photos from all stages of her career. 
*3 media pieces--an extremely rare cassette tape of her song recordings (produced by Sandy Hook Records, 1979); a CD of her song recordings (digitally remastered, produced by BCI Music, 1999); and a cassette tape recording of photographer George Barris's book Marilyn: Her Life in Her Own Words read by actress Jill Eikenberry (produced by Dove Audio, 1995).
*1 key chain--containing a black & white photo from the peak of her career, one side, 2" long, some wear on plastic front and back.
*1 button--containing a color photo from her final year, approx. 1-3/4" round diameter, some wear on the back.
*1 unused light switch plate--bearing a colorized publicity photo of Marilyn from her movie How to Marry a Millionaire, a reproduction of her signature (first name only) and the words "A Hollywood Legend" on a pink/peach background, rounded edges, made of scratch resistant durable metal, easy-to-clean surface, 2 screws included, measures 3-1/2" x 5", 1 single switch opening.
*1 souvenir US postage stamp--colorized image of Marilyn in gold lame gown (from the chest up) over a blue background, reproduction of her real signature on top, appears to have faint postal marking over surface, 32 cents postal value.
*1 feature magazine article --3 pages about who owns the legal rights to Marilyn's image, published in 2007, front page has some markings on the outer margin.
*2 feature newspaper articles--these are back-to-back from the same edition, one about a Marilyn impersonator and the other about Marilyn merchandise in a museum gift shop, published in 2007, has water spots and some markings.
*2 picture postcards--one is a color photo of Marilyn smiling from an open window during filming of The Seven Year Itch, the other is a color photo of her wearing the gold lame gown (in full length) from her movie Gentlemen Prefer Blondes. The latter postcard has slight wear around the edges. Both postcards are unwritten on the opposite side.
*1 picture plaque--bearing a black & white publicity photo of Marilyn from her movie Gentlemen Prefer Blondes (wearing gold lame gown), and features corner accents, tapered edges and high-gloss coating over stained wood. Back of plaque is bare wood and has a nail bracket for hanging. Measures approx. 10" x 11".
*1 framed photo--a black & white publicity photo of the famous white dress scene taken during filming of The Seven Year Itch. Walnut wood frame and nail bracket on back for hanging. Measures 12" x 15."
*1 large framed reproduced painting--from a color publicity photo of Marilyn (from chest up) in the gold lame gown from her movie Gentlemen Prefer Blondes. The walnut wood frame is about 2" wide and has a routered design. There is no nail bracket on back for hanging. There is slight marking on the top centered back of frame. Measures 17" x 23."
*1 pillow--bearing a color photo of Marilyn wearing a black/white plunging V-neck. The bottom portion of the pillow has her name in cursive. The pillow has been washed. Measures 13" x 20." Type of outer fabric is possibly polyester.
Items are packaged individually in plastic (styrofoam and bubble wrap for framed art) in one box. Shipped USPS Ground Advantage.
